An English Minton parianware figural group modeled after the sculpture in marble titled "Ariadne On The Panther" by J.H. von Dannecker (German, 1758-1841). Ariadne was a Greek Cretan princess who became the wife of Dionysus. Width 6.5". Bearing signature marks including "MINTON," a flower mark, and a diamond-ovoid mark impressed to the underside.
