MODEL 1840, HALL 'FISHTAIL' .52 CAL. CARBINE, C1841, L 21" BBL:.52 cal, Hall carbine, breech loader, 'Fishtail' butt. 21" round barrel, overall length of 40". Having sling bar and saddle ring. Fixed iron sights. Stamped "U.S. S. North MIDL TN, CONN 1841" on top of breech. Inspectors mark: "NWP" at rear sight. Including ramrod.
Stock worm eaten on right side.
