Lot includes two hand embellished photographic prints by Grace Chandler Horn (1879-1967). Depicting Native American actors from the annual Hiawatha Pageant in Petoskey, MI. H 13.5", W 7.75". Framed under acrylic in painted wood frames, H 16.5", W 10.5". One photographic print by Herman Heyn (1866-1949). Identified in the upper left as Black Horn, Ogallala Sioux, Council Chief. Notation in the lower left 148. Copyright 1899 by Heyn Photo. Omaha. H 9", W 7". Matted and framed under glass, H 14.5", W 11.5". One photographic print by Robert Wilson Shufeldt (1850-1934) of a seated Native American gentleman holding a pipe. Printed notation in the lower left of Blackfeet 3. Condition

The chandler prints are adhered to cardstock backings, both have rubbing at the edges. Heyn print is hinge mounted in the upper corners. Professional repair in the lower right corner, crease in the upper right corner. Specks of foxing in the paper verso. The Shufeldt print is adhered to a cardstock backing, which is also adhered to a cardstock backing. The three prints framed together are adhered to a cardstock backing. The Notman print is adhered to a paper backing. Exhibits light staining and scattered points of foxing. | Please note all lots show signs of wear commensurate with age and use, and the lack of a statement regarding condition does not imply the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from defects or the effects of aging.
