NEW HAVEN "MOUNT VERNON" REVERSE PAINTED MINIATURE BANJO CLOCK, EARLY 20TH C., H 15 3/4":A gold painted case with an eagle finial to the top, over a 3 5/8" painted Arabic hour dial that is signed "The New Haven Clock Co., USA" and "12 Day". The case having pierced brass side attachments encasing two reverse painted glass panels depicting George Washington and Mt. Vernon respectively.

The dial with multiple hairline cracks emanating from center. With some wear and loss to gold paint throughout. The Mount Vernon panel has been reinforced (MK). The eagle finial is detached.
