Oils On Board, 20th C., Napoleonic Campaigns In Spain, Two Pieces, H 10.5'' W 13.5'' Two oil paintings on panels depicting campaigns in Spain during the Napoleonic Wars. The first depicting commanders overseeing a river crossing. Signed "F. Mota" in the lower right with an illegible date (192-). The second painting is unsigned and depicts combat operations around a hilltop church. Both paintings having carved giltwood frames, H 18", W 21".

Condition

Both paintings have scattered flakes with pigment loss. Some flaking to the frames as well. Please note all lots show signs of wear commensurate with age and use, and the lack of a statement regarding condition does not imply the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from defects or the effects of aging.
