PAINTED PORCELAIN PLAQUES, PAIR, H 7", W 15":A pair of painted porcelain plaques, each is framed with a green velvet liner. From The George and Penny Simon Collection, Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan.
Condition
The plaque, depicting a wheat field with a village in the background, has an area with multiple small spots of paint missing in the lower right corner. This area is approx. 4" x 4" in size and the size range of the small spots of paint loss are approx. 1/36" to 1/8" in diameter.
On the second plaque there is a 2" x 1" area in the lower left corner that has small spots of paint missing. The largest is 1/4" long by 1/8" wide and the others are approx. 1/36" in diameter. TW 5-5-17
