Gonzalez, 1931-2012 - a graduate of Wayne State University and The Center for Creative Studies (Detroit, MI) he also attended Toledo University for glass blowing. Having a studio in the Cass Corridor, Detroit, MI, Mr. Gonzalez also spent 35 years as a sculptor for the Ford Design Center and continued on after his retirement as a consultant for them. His public commissions include a 1972 brass, copper and bronze fountain sculpture for the mall in Adrian, MI and a 57' x 47' mobile installed in the old Giffels Building, Southfield, MI.
