PERSIAN HAND-WOVEN WOOL SHAWL, ANTIQUE, 5' 9" X 4' 6":
Condition
There are approx. 4 small holes, approx. 1/4" to 1/2" in size. There are multiple tears along the hand sewn edge. These tears are in the connecting stitches not in the weave. So they can be repaired fairly easily. The border along the edge consist of three separate borders sewn together. There is a center seam extending the full length of the shawl.
