Persian Heriz Handwoven Wool Carpet, W 10' 7'' L 13' 9'' | A hand-woven vintage Persian Heriz wool carpet. Boasting a palette of crimson, azure blue, sage and ecru. Ends terminate with knotted ivory tone fringe. Provenance: from a private collection in Tecumseh, Michigan.
With sun fading to one central long side edge. Some losses to fringe. Pile is mostly consistent with minor losses near the sun damage area. Boasting attractive cherry red tones. The non-fringed edges show some wear and a repaired area about 3" of over stitching. Please note all lots show signs of wear commensurate with age and use, and the lack of a statement regarding condition does not imply the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from defects or the effects of aging.
