PEWABIC IRIDESCENT POTTERY FIGURE OF A BOY BY GWEN LUX (1908-1987), H 8":A standing boy with a seated dog at his left side; signed "Gwenlux" incuse at the underside with "Pewabic" in black (see additional photo). Gwen Lux, American, 1908-1987, a student of Mary Chase Perry Stratton at Pewabic Pottery, Detroit.
There are 3 minor glaze chips: one to the dog's tail, at the back of the base, and to the back of the head; also his head has been repaired. Condition is good otherwise.
