Pewabic Pottery (American, 1903) Lamp Base With Ivory/Brown Glaze C. 1900-1903, H 17'' Dia. 11'' Described by Mary Chase Perry as lamp with ivory brown glaze. According to Pewabic Pottery records this base originally had a leaded glass shade (designed by Bemis, Detroit) and was illustrated in the Pewabic Pottery Archives with two other leaded shades. Provenance: Mary Chase Perry; Horace Caulkins; Property of a Prominent Metro Detroit Collector of Pewabic Pottery. Condition
When viewed under UV light, no conservation efforts or inpainting was observed. Hairline fractures to the glaze on the base and underside.
