Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity dated Paris, 22 September 1970 from Paul Renoir. The card indicates that the drawing is from his Grandfather's Estate (P.A. Renoir - Lot 3 No. 41), from the inventory of the artist's home Musee des Collettes, in Cagnes-sur Mer. The certificate shows that the drawing formerly bore the artist's ink stamp signature (now faded), lower right recto, with margins (deckle edge on the left sheet edge) Frame H 14.25" W 15.25" Provenance: Pierre Auguste Renoir (artist); by descent to his grandson Paul Renoir; Galerie du Carlton, Cannes, France 1971; Private Collector, Ann Arbor, MI Exhibition History: Andre Chenue Transport Label (affixed verso) indicating the drawing was in ‘RENOIR’ Exhibition in Cannes, France (on loan from Paul Renoir)
