PIERRE BITTAR (FRENCH, B. 1934), OIL ON CANVAS, H 38", W 39", "BAY OF VILLEFRANCHE":38 1/4" x 38 3/4"; signed lower left. Note written by the artist provided by Wally Findlay Galleries: "This painting was painted in the south of France on the French Riviera. The bay you see is the Bay of Villefranche and what you see on the other side of the bay is Cap Ferrat. It was painted around 1976." #102336 on verso as well as the Wally Findlay Galleries label.
