Probably Florentine. Inlaid stones in form of urn with stylized birds and flowers set into walnut frame. Octagonal walnut case with inverted legs ending in acanthus leaf carvings, all on a plinth. Provenance: Estate of Jack Faxon, Michigan Senator and creator of the Michigan Council for the Arts.
