R.M. KRAUSE, GERMAN, SCHWEIDNITZ MAJOLICA STYLE FIGURAL VASES, PAIR, H 17":A fisherman and fisherwoman standing upon a rocky seashore above the waves, carrying a basket, net, and urn. Each vase is shaped with flaring leafy rim and foliage. Impressed at the underside with maker's mark denoting R.M. Krause, numbered 3074 and 3075, with the Roman numeral 'V'. Measures H.17" x 7".
Condition
The vase with the male figure has a 1" x 1" repair to the rim and a 1/4" chip near this repair. The vase with the woman figure has three 1/8" chips at the base and two 1/4" chips at the base. RB 6-28-17
