RAFAEL CORONEL (MEXICAN, B.1932), OIL ON CANVAS, C. 1966, 23" X 16", "RETRATO VI":23 1/2" x 16". Depicting a bust length portrait of a bearded gentleman; signed "R. Coronel" lower right, in a beveled wood frame, 25" x 17 1/2" overall size. Label on the reverse for the Forsythe Gallery, 201 Nickels Arcade, Ann Arbor, Michigan, includes artist information, title, and medium (see additional photo). Rafael Coronel, Mexican, born 1932.
Condition
As viewed under UV light in the unopened frame: UV clean; diagonal scratch in near lower left in the shoulder; paint nick in background in UR; not lined; no visible craquelure.
