A richly inked impression of New Hollstein's fourth state (of five), without watermark, on thick laid paper, with shading added to two previously unshaded areas: below the signature upper left and to the right of the upper edge and with very fine horizontal lines added to the shaded area to the left of the standing man on the right, Biˆrklund's second state (of 2); Usticke's third state (of 3); White and Boon's second state (of 2), with trimmed margins measuring approximately .25in on each side. Condition

with light, mat and backboard staining, with thin spots in each corner, short tear within the margin in the upper right corner (unobtrusive to the image), tape remains verso in all four corners, stray pencil notations verso, a few specks of pale foxing.
