As viewed under UV light in the unopened frame: c. 5% to 8% overpainting in the water; paint is slightly skinned on the left side; overall craquelure with stretcher bar cracking of the paint with some instability; not lined or patched; highly varnished; quite dark; modern frame with slightly soiled liner.
