ROBERT KIDD AMERICAN WOOL COVERLET CIRCA 1970 W 10' 2" L 10' 5":Handmade wool coverlet, beige in color, with 7 rows of fringe at one side and 4 rows of fringe at the other. From the estate of Dr. Murray Bergman. He commissioned the artist Robert Kidd, of Robert Kidd Gallery in Birmingham, Michigan, in the early 1970's to weave this coverlet. The artist Robert Kidd was a graduate of Cranbrook. He passed away in 2007. The measurements are approximate. The coverlet was made for a king size bed.

Condition

Beautiful coverlet, in good condition. This quilt was only brought out and displayed on the bed for holidays.
