A 2013 watercolor on paper by Ron Sumner. Depicting a white egret feeding from coastal shallows. Frame measures H 28.5" x L 24.5". Sumner grew up in Northern California and earned a BFA from the California College of Arts and Crafts. He is highly regarded for his renderings of birds. For many years he worked as a technical illustrator for various engineering firms. Today he is a a full time painter focusing on seascapes, landscapes, horses and West Coast Birds.
