The vase offers a purple crocus motif on a cream-to-blue ground, rendered in a vellum glaze. The artist's signature is illegible. Produced in year VI (1906) and is design # 941F with the Rookwood Flame and backwards “R” and “P” signature branding to the underside. Provenance: Property from a Clarkston, Michigan private collector.

Condition

The shoulder and neck show conservation and overpainting.
