JAPANESE SATSUMA EARTHENWARE POTTERY VASES, MEIJI PERIOD, PAIR, H 8", L 6":Each is shaped as pouch with a gilt bow at the neck. Having figural panels and fired gold accents. Marked at the underside, possibly numeric. Meiji period (1868-1912). From the estate of Barbara K. Wrigley of Grosse Pointe Farms.

Condition

Both have areas of restoration, there is a repaired chip to the bottom rim of one vase.
