STELLA FORD SCHLOTMAN, PORCELAIN DINNERWARE & GLASSWARE, YACHT 'STELLARIS', C. 1930, 120 PIECES:In 1922 Stella Ford Schlotman purchased the Yacht "Delphine" from Mrs. Horace Dodge and renamed the vessel "Stellaris". These sets of china and glassware were used on the Stellaris. It has the markings of two flags. Select pieces of china are marked O.P.CO., Syracuse, China, as well as Martin's of Detroit, Michigan (the retailer). Including 15 dinner plates, Dia.10 1/2" (one is actually 10 1/8"), 17 luncheon plates, Dia.9 3/4", 15 salad plates, Dia.8 3/4", 17 rim soup bowls, 10 dessert plates, Dia.7 1/2", 8 bread-and-butter plates, 6 bouillon cups with 11 saucers, 12 demi tasse saucers, and 1 individual coffee pot, H.6 3/4", as well as 2 glass creamers, 2 glass sugar bowls, 1 glass milk pitcher, and 3 salt shakers.

Condition

All pieces show varying degrees of wear due to handling and use. Plus the following pieces with rim chips and cracks, not included in the above count: 1 dinner plate, 1 luncheon plate, 1 salad plate, 1 rim soup bowl, 1 bread-and-butter plate, 4 bouillon cups and 3 saucers, 4 demi tasse saucers, and 4 shakers without caps.
