SEVRES PORCELAIN & BRONZE-MOUNTED COVERED URN, 19TH C., H 28", W 13", SIGNED:French Sevres porcelain, hand-painted reserves at each side, one depicts a courting couple in a provincial setting, signed, appears to be "Tabis" (see additional photo), the other side depicts a thatched roof house alongside a stream, gilt bronze mounts and scroll handles surmounted by female masks. Measures H.28", W.13" to the handles.
The patina shows wear and areas of discoloration (evident in the multiple photos provided). The cover has restoration.
