SHARP'S MILITARY RIFLE, .52 CAL., R.B. LAWRENCE PATENT, L 36" BBL, #37317:Serial number on breech, tang and barrel. Patch box cover in stock. Stamped "1859 C. Sharps Pat." and R.B. Lawrence Pat. April 12th. 1859" on lock plate and side tang behind hammer. Overall length of 53". Having a stock forend repair from breech to first band, 7 3/4" in length. Adjustable rear sight.
