Breech loading trap door lock. Any proof or inspection marks are no longer visible due to pitting. Lock appears to be marked Springfield, but this area is also pitted. Replacement wooden stock. Overall L. 51". Enfield bayonet marked with WD under a broad arrow, R, and BR 34. Length of 24.75". Provenance: Property from a prominent Beverly Hills, MI estate. Lock, barrel, straps and trigger guard appear to have been recovered and mounted on a replacement stock. Overall pitting to the metal.
