STERLING TABLEWARE ARTICLES, 5 PIECES, H TO 4 1/2", L TO 15":A group of five silver tableware articles, comprising: an attributed to Dutch tea strainer, decorated on rim with figural motifs and scrolling leaves, with a windmill handle, and having rubbed marks to underside, length 6"; a George Beddingham, 1851, London, Sterling silver trophy cup, decorated in relief throughout with scrolling folate, and engraved cartouche to front reading "Otho Forkheimer, TC Frankle, December, 1870", height 4 1/2"; a Whiting Manufacturing Co. Sterling silver pierced bread basket, with monogram to center and engraving beneath reading "Jan 23, 1893", length 10 1/4"; and a pair of Continental silver footed trays, with scalloped edge, a shaped bowl and two handles, stamped "E" and "750" to underside, length 15". 11.15 troy ounces measurable. Beddingham Trophy Cup: 4.24 troy ounces Whiting Manufacturing Co. basket: 6.91 troy ounces.

Condition

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some hallmarks worn. Continental basket having more noticeable dings throughout.
