Signed and dated 'TMoran 1889' in the lower left. Watercolor landscape of the shores of Amagansett, Long Island, New York. Pencil notations on sheet verso of TM, #32 and a small pencil sketch of a horse. Framed under glass, H 17.25", W 24.75". Original frame backing adhered to newer frame verso. Bearing labels from Stephen Mazoh Gallery, Baltimore. Noah Goldowsky Fine Arts, New York. American Drawings, Paul Magriel Collection. Provenance: Christie's New York, May 30th, 1986.
Mounted to a cardstock backing in the upper corners with mounting tape. Tack holes in the four corners with a small loss in the upper right and a crease in the lower right. A few specks of pale foxing.
