TRANSFER-DECORATED STAFFORDSHIRE POTTERY GROUP, 6 PIECES, VARIOUS NEW ENGLAND VIEWS:A group of transfer-decorated Staffordshire pottery. English, 19th century. With six pieces total, comprising: a W. Adams & Sons pink cup and saucer depicting New York river and New York City; a W. Adams & Sons pink soup plate depicting "Catskill Mountain House", dia. 10 ½"; a W. Adams & Sons pink plate depicting "New Hampshire" from the "Views Near Conway" series, dia. 9"; a Joseph Heath & Company brown plate depicting "The Residence of the Late Richard Jordan, New Jersey", dia. 10 ½"; A James & Ralph Clews pink platter depicting "Picturesque Views of the Hudson River", length 12", width 10'; and a Job & John Jackson pink plate depicting the "Hancock House, Boston", dia. 7 ¾".

Condition

The plates with wear, isolated instances of discoloration, and crazing, especially noticeable on the back of most plates. Most plates having isolated instances of dark discoloration and small chips to rims. The platter with brown discoloration throughout. The cup and saucer in good condition, with some isolated firing imperfections.
