A reproduction of "The Pitcairn Pistol", a pistol belonging to British Major John Pitcairn that is alleged to have fired the first shot of the American Revolutionary War. This pistol was authorized by The Whitney Armory Museum and the U.S. Historical Society, it is numbered 337. There is scrolling engraving to the majority of the pistol with "Lexington April 19, 1775" on one side of the grip and the Pitcairn family crest on the other. The pistol is presented in its original wooden case with a blue velvet interior. Barrel length: 7 1/2".
