Wire-wrapped leather grip with brass floral decorated guard. Etched blade decorated with scrolling floral designs with "U.S." on one side and "Union" on the other. No visible maker's mark, believe to be Tomes Son & Melvain. From theGuiliano Cipoila Collection. Blade length 31". Includes leather and brass scabbard. Brass ring mountings in form of eagle's heads. Throat, middle and tip having scrolling floral designs.
