Wire-wrapped shagreen grip with gilt barss guard. Guard decorated with dolphine heads, floral decorations, with "USN". Pommel bearing winged eagle crest with 13 stars. Ricasso marked "P.D.L.", Paul D. Luneschloss. Blade having etched decorations of winged eagle, fouled anchor, "USN" and crossed arms. Include leather and gilt brass scabbard.
