M1913 cavalry saber, designed by George Patton. Marked "SA" with a flaming bomb and dated 1914 on the ricasso. Opposite side of the ricasso is marked "US 21471". Having a basket style guard with diamond patterned grip. Overall length of 42". Includes canvas-wrapped metal scabbard. This lot also includes a wood and metal practice saber marked "R.I.A. 1906" above the guard. Overall length of the practice saber is 41".
