Wire-wrapped shagreen grip. Brass guard designed with dolphins and floral decoration with "USN". Hand engraving on the guard reads "Y0958182". Pommel bearing a winged eagle. Pipe-backed blade having faintly etched decorations of floral designs, fouled anchor, eagle crest, "United States Navy". Blade is marked W.H. Horstmann & Sons Philadelphia. Includes brass and leather scabbard.
