U.S. SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1869 "TRAP DOOR" RIFLE, #17322, L 32" BBL:.45-70 caliber. '1863', eagle mark, and "Springfield" inscribed on lock plate. "1869" stamped on trap door with U.S. and eagle with crossed arrows armory mark. Full length stock and shoulder strap. Marked 3352 below adjustable rear sight on barrel. 1869 and 'Crossed Arrow' & 'US' armory mark on trap door.
