VIENNESE PAINTED PORCELAIN MANTEL URNS, PAIR, H 8 1/4":Pair of painted porcelain urns, each with a blue ground, gold leaf decoration surrounding central portrait of a woman. Marked at underside with blue underglaze beehive mark and "Austria". "Tochter des Kaliefen" (poss.) written to underside on one, and titled "Judith" to other. Each with artist signature to underside.
Condition
Each missing lid. Slight gilt loss at the foot and neck, otherwise condition appears to be good (AD). One urn has a 1/8" x 1/8" rim chip. The same urn also has an approx. 1" crack emanating from the rim chip. RB 3-29-17
