WALNUT DOVETAIL-CONSTRUCTED LIDDED BOX, LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH C., H 5 1/2", L 15", D 6 1/4":The dovetail-constructed box with lift-top above a molded base. From the Estate of Palmer T. Heenan, Grosse Pointe Park.
The box is locked and it doesn't appear that the key provided opens the lock (MK). With areas of surface scratches, nicks, and wear throughout consistent with age and use.
