WILLIAM THOMAS BELAH GORDY (AMERICAN, 1877-1955), REDWARE PITCHER, H 9 7/8", DIA APPROX. 6 1/4":A W.T.B. Gordy redware pitcher. American, early 20th century. Baluster form having an egg shaped body with affixed handle and incised ring near center. Covered in a faintly iridescent glaze. Stamped "W.T.B. Gordy" across bulge.

Condition

Shows signs of wear consistent with use and age. With glaze loss to mouth, rim, handle, and especially bulge. A few small isolated chips to glaze throughout, and one noticeable chip to rim.
