A collection of thirty-nine vintage Wizard of Oz books by L. Frank Baum (1 to 14), Ruth Thompson (15 to 33),  John Neill (34 to 36), Jack Snow (37 and 38), Rachel Cosgrove (39),  and one "The Annotated Wizard of Oz" by Michael Patrick Hearn (1973). In chronological order, titles include "The Wizard Of Oz", fourth edition circa 1920s, "The Land of Oz", "Ozma of Oz", "Dorothy And The Wizard of Oz", "The Road To Oz", "The Emerald City of Oz", "The Patchwork Girl of Oz", "Tik Tok of Oz", "The Scarecrow of Oz", "Rinkitink in Oz", "The Lost Princess of Oz", "The Tin Woodman of Oz", "The Magic of Oz", "Glinda of Oz", "The Royal Book of Oz", "Kabumpo in Oz", "The Cowardly Lion of Oz", "Grampa in Oz", "The Lost King of Oz", "The Hungry Tiger of Oz", "The Gnome King of Oz", "The Giant Horse of Oz", "Jack Pumpkinhead of Oz", "The Yellow Knight of Oz", "Pirates in Oz", "The Purple Prince of Oz", "Ojo in Oz", "Speedy in Oz", "The Wishing Horse of Oz", "Captain Salt in Oz", "Handy Mandy in Oz", "The Silver Princess in Oz", "Ozoplaning with the Wizard of Oz", "Wonder City of Oz", "Scalawagons of Oz", "Lucky Bucky in Oz", "Magical Mimics in Oz", "The Shaggy Man of Oz", and "The Hidden Valley of Oz". 
The first book in this series is a fourth edition published in the 1920s and contains several color illustrations. All other books are later editions published post-1935 and contain only black and white illustrations. Fifteen volumes include dust jackets. 

Condition

Most have writing to the inside. With varying degrees of losses, tears, and surface soiling to the binding, covers and pages. The Library of Michael Prus Moss on the interior cover of every book. | Please note all lots show signs of wear commensurate with age and use, and the lack of a statement regarding condition does not imply the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from defects or the effects of aging.
