A Pewabic Pottery vessel signed by William and Mary Chase Stratton (Michigan, 1867-1961). This form exemplifies William Stratton's 'whirling square', which demonstrates the validity of the Dynamic Symmetry theory that was applied to his architectural work. This form dates to 1920-1938. Ex-collection of James Keene.
