ZSOLNAY (HUNGARIAN, EST.1853), IRIDESCENT CERAMIC PLANTER, C.1900, H 8", W 14":An iridescent ceramic vessel or planter, two pheasants in full relief resting atop the bulbous shoulder; a spotted ground below the pair dissolves from green to blue. Impressed underneath 'Zsolnay Pecs 6063' and painted in red 'Zsolnay Pecs Made in Hungary' (see additional photo). Design by Lajos Mack.
Condition
Glaze chips noted around the base. Light wear noted to the decoration.
