14kt Yellow Gold Purse, Cabochon Sapphire Clasp, C. 1910, H 4.5'' W 5'' 135g | An antique 14kt yellow gold chainmail purse. Offers a tension clasp embellished with two cabochon sapphires. With 'HELEN G. BOWEN DETROIT, MICH.' engraved twice to the frame. Gold hallmarks engraved to the frame near one hinge. With handle, measures H 10" overall. Total weight: 135 grams. Provenance: a private collection in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
