1918-19 PACKARD MOTOR CAR COMPANY, MODEL 'E' 3 TON STROH'S BREWERY DELIVERY TRUCK, #147:Partially restored 1919 Packard Motor Car Company, Model 'E' delivery truck. Accompanied by Stroh's fleet truck listing and note provided by Stroh's Brewery archivist, as well as data plates (see photos). Also included is varied paperwork including The Service Parts List binder and multiple photographs taken by the consignor prior to restoration (date stamped on photographs March 1981).  Photos show original vehicle marked on chassis with "147" of Stroh fleet. Serial #179653 stamped on truck's bell housing unit, timing gear unit & one of two data plates corresponding to "#147" listed in Stroh's fleet truck listing (see photos of truck listing, data plates, and bell housing unit and timing gear unit stamps). Having a newer bed and stake sides, hard rubber tires with yellow painted metal spoke wheels, (dual wheels in rear). In-line gasoline powered, 4 cylinder engine, single barrel carburetor, front leaf springs. Full length chassis, mid-ships manual transmission with stick shift on the cab floor, geared rear differential at the rear axles. Fuel tank under the drivers bench, open cab. Numbers on engine block identify as 1919 year of manufacture. Also "Packard" cast into right side of engine block in two places.
