A HAND-HAMMERED CUIRASS FROM "BEN-HUR":Metro-Goldwin-Mayer, 1959. A stylized "lorica segmentata" made from hand-hammered metal, possibly copper, with brown leather straps and buckles, and chain locks. Provenance: David Weisz Co., MGM Auction and Tag Sale, 1970.
Dents, marks, scuffs and scratches throughout. There are some areas of what appears to be rust on the piece.
