TWO PROP GOLD-PAINTED BREASTPLATES FROM "BEN HUR":Metro-Goldwin-Mayer, 1959. Gold-painted metal front and back breastplates, with brown leather straps and buckles, apron of red suede fringe with gold medallion decorations, attached muslin collar, and having a embossed decorated front. The interior of each marked with MGM inventory numbers. Provenance: Accompanied by original receipt from David Weisz Co, MGM Auction and Tag Sale, 1970.
Both with moderate marks, scratches, scuffs, dents, and loss to gold paint throughout
