ADAMESQUE GILT GESSO OVAL MIRROR, C. 1785, H 41", W 16 1/2":An oval gilt gesso frame surmounted by an urn surrounded by foliage, wheat and flowers. Provenance: David Stockwell, Inc., Wilmington, DE, purchased in December 1983.
Condition
Wear to the silvering on the mirror. Some repairs to the leaf motif at the top of the frame. A couple of the leaves have cracked. The wear is consistent with age and use.
