FEDERAL MIRROR, EGLOMISE AND GILDED WOOD, C.1840, H 38", W 28":Overhanging cornice with down turned acorns. Carved wood and gilt gesso. Inverted shell and rosettes in upper panel. Reverse painted eglomise panel displaying a ship flying an American flag.
