Condition

Original canvas on what appears to be the original stretcher. It retains its original varnish except for two test areas performed by a museum quality conservator. One unrestored area of pigment loss center right (see photo). Other scattered areas of minor losses or abrasions. This work is of exceptional quality and should clean and restore to be faithful in color and quality to the original. IN a period appropriate 19th c. frame. | Please note all lots show signs of wear commensurate with age and use, and the lack of a statement regarding condition does not imply the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from defects or the effects of aging.
