American Mahogany Barrister Bookcase, C. 1920, H 54.5'' W 36.25'' Depth 13'' | Having four adjustable shelves. Two hinged glass doors with brass drop pulls. Original glass. Bead molding at the top. Sitting atop wood casters. Provenance: Private Collection, Boston-Edison District, Detroit, MI (40-year resident of the Boston-Edison Ford House)
Surface scratching on the top and on the shelves. Brass pulls are not original, they have been placed in lieu of a locking mechanism which has been removed. 3" loss to molding at the back left side. Please note all lots show signs of wear commensurate with age and use, and the lack of a statement regarding condition does not imply the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from defects or the effects of aging.
