Appears to be French manufactured, utilized with later English Cavalry. This pattern widely used in the American Revolutionary War. Engraving on the blade reads "Dieu L'Honneur Et Mon Roi", an inscription on the reverse of the blade is illegible. Having a baskey hilt with leather-wrapped grip. No scabbard.
